Edwin E. McGuire, 68, formerly of Cherryvale, KS, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Tulsa, OK where he currently resided. He was born November 17, 1947 in Independence, KS, a son of Warren Gene and Ruth Ilene Plotner McGuire.

Mr. McGuire was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a former accountant in the Oil and Gas Industry. Edwin was an avid Golfer and a friend to many.

He is survived by his special friend Jeanne Winkleman of Pittsburg, KS; Friends Jim & Georgia Bradley of Anderson, MO and Kenneth & Donna McIntosh of Jenks, OK; four sisters; one brother; and a host of other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 21, 2016 at Miami Tribal Cemetery, 51908 E. 30 Road, Miami, OK 74354.
