Effie Stansill, 79, of Claremore, OK, passed away on June 21, 1974, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. She was born in Tuscaloosa, AL, to Simeon Paul Gartman and Mary Henrietta (Daniels) Gartman. Effie was married to Walter Roy "W. R." Stansill Sr., former Engineer for Frisco Railroad, who passed away in 1947. She was predeceased by her parents; and husband. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Covington of Claremore, OK; sons, Eugene Stansill of Osage, OK, Walter Stansill, Jr. of Tulsa, OK; 11 grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. C. W. Bierdeman of Tulsa, OK. Service was 12 p.m. noon, Monday, June 24, 1974, at Academy Seventh Day Church, 920 South New Haven, Tulsa, OK, under the direction of Moore's Eastlawn Chapel, 1908 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, OK 918-622-1155.
