Effie Marion Toone, 89, of Tulsa, OK passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 at St. Francis Hospital. She was born March 26, 1923 in Asher, AR to David Marcelle Thomas and Mary Jane Thomas. Effie was a graduate of Haskell High School. Prior to living in Tulsa she resided in Muskogee, California, and Wichita, KS. Once settling in Tulsa she worked for a variety of jobs, until finding her much loved position at Doctors Hospital. She is preceded in death by; her parents, brothers Everett Dalton Thomas, James Lloyd Thomas, Boone Floyd Thomas, Alfred Abraham Thomas and sister Pauline Hatfield. Nephews, Everett Leon Thomas, James Floyd Thomas and David Lloyd Thomas. Effie is survived by; sister-in-law Freda Thomas, Nephews Alfred Roy Thomas, wife Linda Thomas and Joe Gene Thomas, wife Margie Thomas and Paul Eugene Hatfield. Niece, Sharon Thomas Darland. Great nephews and nieces, Lisa Darland, Darcy Marshall, Kristi Abbott, Mark Thomas, Allen Thomas and other relatives and great friends. A celebration of life will be held at 1:00pm, Friday, January 24th at Moore Funeral Home, Rosewood Chapel, 2570 S. Harvard, Tulsa, OK 74114
