Obituary

Eleanor E. (Bishop) Nash, of Broken Arrow, Ok. passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013.
Graveside Services and burial will be held at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery with Pastor Lee Hendon officiating. No visitation or viewing will be held. Memorials in honor of Mrs. Nash are suggested to the Atchison YMCA or Atchison First Christian Church. Online condolences may be left at www.moorefuneral.com
Mrs. Nash, born June 4, 1919 in Potter, Kansas was the daughter of Curtis E. and Louise E. (Wahaus) Bishop. She graduated from Potter High School and attended Atchison Business College. She retired from Blish-Mize in 1979 before moving to Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Christian Church and Eastern Star in Atchison.
She married Richard L. Nash on December 6, 1945 in Atchison, Ks. He preceded her in death on February 2, 1979. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother Wilbur Curtis Bishop, and sisters Evelyn L. Chew and Ethelyn M. Meek.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Richard B. and Sherry J. (Metzen) Nash of Wagoner, Ok; daughter, Julie A. Nash of Kansas City, Mo; grandson and family, Richard Darren, Jeanne Denise (Mantooth), Parker and Cooper Nash of Noble, Ok; and sister Eileen R. Allen of Shawnee, Ks.
