Elena L. Lauderdale, 92, of Tulsa, OK passed away July 27, 2016. Elena was born October 2, 1923, in Worcester, MA, to Dino and Mary (Grilli) Ricardi.

Elena served in the United States Coast Guard after graduating from high school. She then met her future husband Wilfred in Texas and they married June 30, 1951 in Ft. Worth, TX. During their 65 years of marriage they raised five children and Elena was a very active member of St. Pius X Catholic Church. She served on the Alter Guild and enjoyed needlework and cooking.

Elena is survived by: husband, Wilfred (Winn) Lauderdale of the home, one daughter; Dena Lauderdale of Tulsa, four sons; David Lauderdale of Siloam Springs, AR, Donald Lauderdale and wife Lynn of Enid, OK, Dennis Lauderdale and wife Mary of Enid, OK, Daniel Lauderdale and wife Jeanette of Tulsa, two sisters; Mary Lou Morrill of Worcester, MA and Jean Heim and husband Robert of North Brookfield, MA.

Elena was preceded in death by: parents, brother; Peter Ricardi, sister; Marian Dagastino.

Elena asks that donations be made to Catholic Charities.
