Schweikhard, Elizabeth Ann, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Elizabeth Ann was born in Cameron, OK on January 15, 1924, to Leonidus Veston & Bessie Mae (Stanford) Hill. Elizabeth Ann graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in 1965, the same year her oldest son Bill graduated from high school. During her 20 year teaching career at Fulton Elementary, she touched many young lives.
She married Wayne G. Schweikhard on August 21, 1944 at the home of her parents in Cameron, OK. They met at Northeastern Oklahoma State University in Tahlequah and married when Wayne was on leave from the Navy.
Elizabeth Ann is survived by: son Bill Schweikhard and his wife, Beverly of Colleyville, TX; son Tim Schweikhard of Tulsa; daughter Beth Wooldridge and her husband, Tom, of Mt. Carmel, IL; son Jake Schweikhard and his wife Carol of Tulsa; and son Jon Schweikhard of Dallas, TX. Grandchildren: Annalisa Schweikhard, James Schweikhard, Kimberly Buch, husband Ron, Jeana Schweikhard, Amanda Schweikhard, Nikki Wallace, her husband Matt, Andrea Robison, her husband, Aaron, and April Schweikhard; 9 Great grandchildren; 2 Sisters: Mary Lee Wagoner OKC, OK., Janey Spencer, OKC, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Leon Hill, and great-granddaughter: Ella Wallace.
Elizabeth Ann had a lifelong love of horses, music, reading and traveling the world with her beloved husband Wayne, and her sisters and their spouses. But her greatest loves in life were her faith and her family. She leaves a legacy of unconditional love and contagious laughter.
