Sparks, Elizabeth Jane "Betty", 96 of Bartlesville passed away Monday, February 16, 2015. She was born July 1, 1918 in Guthrie County, Iowa to Frank Roy and Golda Irene Smith. She was an economic researcher for the Iowa Department of Job Service. She was a member of East Cross United Methodist Church and enjoyed gathering coupons for charity organizations in Bartlesville. Survived by step children Donna Handshy of Skiatook, Joyce Williams of Tulsa, Phyllis Maxwell of Tulsa, Ruth Roberts of Olympia, Washington, Jim Sparks of Georgetown, TX, 10 step grandchildren , 17 great grandchildren, siblings Jerry and Ann Smith of Richardson, TX, Shirley and Neil Mayberry of KS, 6 nieces, 1 nephew, 8 great nieces and 8 great nephews. Preceded in death by parents, husband Jean Gerald Sparks, great grandson Asher Samuel Bennett and brother Roy Allison Smith. Memorial contributions may be made to East Cross United Methodist Church.
