Goodman, Elizabeth "Tucky" March was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota July 31st, 1944
and peacefully passed away in Tulsa, Oklahoma July 30, 2017 after a short but valiant
battle with cancer. Tucky graduated from Kansas University where she served as
president of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and met the love of her life, Grant. Tucky's
life was really a tale between the two cities she loved: Tulsa, Oklahoma and Phoenix,
Arizona. She was an active volunteer in both communities serving as President of
Planned Parenthood in both cities, Kappa Kappa Gamma Alumni Association, Paradise
Valley Women's Organization, Junior League, and Columbine Garden Club. She
expressed her love for children by working in the local preschool, sitting on the Foster
Care Review Board in Phoenix, and was a founding member of the board of the Ronald
McDonald House. Filled with compassion and interest in others, Tucky made friends
easily and maintained contact with many. Her loyalty and fun loving spirit created a
tapestry of friendships that spanned the country. Whether rafting the Colorado river,
hiking the Mogollon Rim, or hosting an elegant dinner party, Tucky faced life with her
unique combination of spunk, grace, beauty, and laughter. She was a founding
member of the venerable Bridge Camp, a women's only biennial institution dedicated to
the game of cards, cocktails, and camaraderie. She loved cooking, duplicate bridge, golf
and tennis, but found her greatest joy as a grandmother.

She leaves behind her soulmate of 51 years, Grant Goodman, her beloved daughter Carly and son-in-law Brett, and her cherished granddaughters Peyton and Parker. A celebration of life will be held August 11, 2017 at 1 o'clock pm at All Souls Unitarian Church.
