STEWART, Ella Jane, 78, went to be with her Lord and Saviour, Monday, July 14, 2014 in Tulsa, OK. Born October 26, 1935 in Tulsa, OK to James Everett and Merl (Roberts) Stamper. She married her high school sweetheart, Walter Floyd Stewart on September 12, 1953.
She was a life-long member of 41st Street Christian Church. Ella is remembered for her love of family, Christmas Holidays, and family birthdays. She enjoyed camping, ceramics, and made the best chocolate pie in the world.
Preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda Kathleen; parents, James Stamper and Merl and Gene Durbin. Survived by her loving husband, Floyd; children, Bobbie and Larry Merritt, Neil and Janet Stewart, Pat and Eloise Stewart, Sheila Lindsay, and Brett and Gina Stewart; nine grandchildren, grandson, Christian and wife, Shawna Merritt, and their children, Greyson, Joe, Thatcher, and Ellie, granddaughter, Earon and husband, Patrick Cunningham, and their children, Hannah and Molly, grandson, Michael and wife, Karen Merritt, and their children, Evelyn, Sam, and Tessa, grandson, Brandon and wife, Melanie Stewart, and their children, Ella Elizabeth, and "Baby Boy" Stewart, two grandsons, Matthew and Jeremy Stewart, granddaughter, Meagan Lindsay and grandson, Cameron Lindsay, granddaughter, Abbey Stewart; two sisters, Rosalee Sinn and husband Paul, and Mary Sue Oxtoby and husband, John; one brother, Ron Durbin and wife, Lori; numerous other relatives.
