The angels welcomed Eloise DiGiacomo, age 96, when she left this life on Monday November 30th. She was born November 18, 1919 in Muskogee, OK to John Edgar and Vernal Wright, the oldest of their four children. Eloise graduated from Webster High School in 1938 and married Tony DiGiacomo in 1941. In 1942, she gave birth to their first child, Anita. Three months later, Tony left for WWII. He returned to her in 1945 at the end of the war; and in 1948 she gave birth to their second child, David. Eloise and Tony lived in Tulsa, where they owned a small business ("Tony's Shoes"), and raised their children.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tony, her brother Don, and her sister Jean. She is survived by her adoring family. Her children: Anita Prather (Jerry) of Santa Rosa Beach, FL, and David DiGiacomo of Tulsa, OK, as well as her sister Lavon Coulson, also of Tulsa, OK. Eloise was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother and Aunt and we will all miss her terribly. Her enduring and positive influence on our lives will always be cherished and remembered. We were blessed by her unconditional love, generosity, wisdom, and wonderful mind for all the many years she was with us.
