Elsie Joretta Davis (Jo) passed from this life on the morning of June 12th, 2021. She was born in Bentonville, Arkansas to Delbert and Alvis Sluder on March 28th, 1940. She was preceded in death by Jim Davis her husband of 53 years, and a sister Lois Johnson. She is survived by sons T.J. & Julie Davis of Mannford, Mike Davis of Tulsa, Jamie Davis of Mannford; grandchildren Melissa Cavenah, Chris Davis, Keith Davis, and 8 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Wilma Norris, Marion Thomas, and Gwen Taylor.
Jo was the youngest of the 5 Sluder girls, grew up in Tulsa, and graduated from Rogers High School. She spent most of her work life as an Executive Secretary, and retired from Agrico Chemical. She was a long-time resident of Mannford, and enjoyed living on Keystone Lake. Jo loved to travel and visited several foreign countries on her adventures.
