Mrs. Emily "Emmy" Kay Elias, 85, longtime Bristow, OK, resident, died Thursday, May 20, 1976, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. She was born on Saturday, April 26, 1890, in Lebanon, OH. Mrs. Elias resided in Bristow around 50 years, coming from Lebanon, OH, her birthplace. She was the aunt of Jimmy Elias, owner of Jamil's restaurant, 2905 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK. Her late husband, Kalil Elias, ran a grocery store here before his death in 1960. Mrs. Elias was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bristow. She is survived by two sons, Emil Kay Elias and wife, Mary Mildred of Corpus Christi, TX, and William "Willie" Khalil Elias of Tulsa, OK; three daughters, Mrs. Mayre Fogley of Tulsa, OK, Mrs. Alice Nasser of Indianapolis, IN, and Mrs. Margaret Kay "Marge" Laflin and husband William "Bill" Leon Laflin of Houston, TX; 28 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kalil Elias; daughter, Camille "Cam" Elias; and infant sister, Agnes Elias. Emmy will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
