Emma Jane Limer Rule, age 86, of Tulsa,OK passed away Monday Jan 29, 2024. Jane was born in Warren County, NC on October 27th, 1937 to Osborne and Emma Limer. She grew up on a tobacco farm in North Carolina and graduated from Peace College in 1958. She then married Eugene Rule and had two boys, Scott & Greg, and raised them in Oklahoma where she remained the rest of her life. Widowed in 1989, she then retired from CITGO where she had worked for 19 years. She remained active as a grandmother, and had many friends from different organizations she was a part of, including CITGO and her Red Tent Sisters which were a big part of her life. She was a proud member of Asbury Methodist Church and volunteered at St. Francis Hospital. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Eugene Hansford Rule; son, Gregory Limer Rule; her parents, Osborne and Emma Limer; two sisters, Isabel L Harper and Irma L. Rideout; and a brother, Thomas O. Limer. Jane is survived by: her son, Scott Douglas Rule and wife Debbie of Bixby, Ok; two granddaughters, Christina and Samantha Rule; two grandsons, Michael and Daniel Gammill; six great grandchildren, Raynin, Brooks, Dwight, Marshall, Evelyn and Oliver Gammill; and one brother, William H. Limer of Woodstock, GA. Funeral services will be at Memorial Park Cemetary Chapel, 5111 S. Memorial Dr., Tulsa, Ok, on Feb 2nd, 2024 at 10am.
