Eric 'Mike' McLain White, Jr.

Passed away July 23, 2014. Mike was born March 28, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to Dr. Eric M. and Laverne Kyle White. He graduated from Edison High School and from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK with a BA in Education. Right out of college, he was offered a teaching job in Springfield, IL. He met and married Jean Grossbaier from Illinois and they had one child, Vicki Jean. He used his BA in Education as a Speech Pathologist in the Sangamon Special Education School District from 1966 to 1991. He then retired and moved back to Tulsa where he remained until his death. Following in his father's footsteps, he was a Mason of the Delta Lodge No. 425 AF & AM.

He is preceded in death by his parents Dr. Eric M. & Laverne White of Tulsa, his daughter Vicki White Beauchamp of Tulsa and nephew-in-law Michael Harrell of Bixby. He is survived by his sister Patricia 'Patt' Thomas, niece Sara Thomas Harrell, great-nieces Alexandria 'Lexie' Key Harrell, Sophia Kyle Harrell and Grace Phillips Harrell all of Bixby; cousins Bill & Lynne Summers of Portland, OR and Owen Summers of Austin, TX. He is also survived by many more cousins and friends.

You will be greatly missed but you can now share that dance with Vicki, watch OU football with Granny and Grandad and share a good laugh with Michael!! We Love you dearly!
