Eric Scott Spaulding, 55, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2016 in Tulsa, OK. He was born June 10, 1961, in Joliet, Illinois to Billy and Yvonne Hidlebaugh Spaulding. He met his future wife, Melinda Dee Haskins, at Oklahoma State University in 1980, where they were both graduates. They were married on August 13, 1988 in Tulsa, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Eric was a science and history teacher at Mannford High School for many years and then went on to do adjunct teaching at Tulsa Community College. From an early age he developed a love of history, movies, learning and reading that continued throughout his life.

In addition to his wife Melinda, he is survived by two brothers, Garrett and Shane Spaulding including several nieces, nephews, relatives and wonderful friends. He will forever be missed.

Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
