Obituary
Erma Joyce (Shupe) Adams, 84, of Tulsa, passed away Friday, June 16th, 2017. She was born January 28th, 1933 in Sugar Grove, Virginia to the late Robert and Dora (Richardson) Shupe.
In addition to her parents, Erma was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, William D. Adams, son Mitchell Adams, brothers Grover, Joe, Rex, Russell and Roy "Colonel" Shupe and sister Ethel Anderson. Erma is survived by her son Jeffrey Adams and his wife Barbara and grandsons Bryan and Christopher, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends.
Erma enjoyed taking care of her family, singing hymns and playing the piano, and participating in political campaigns. She also liked to watch professional golf, baseball, basketball, NASCAR races and OSU basketball and football (Go Pokes!).
The family would like to thank the staff of both Brookdale Midtown Senior Living and Season's Hospice.
