Ernie Lee Hill was born in Oklahoma City, OK on August 30, 1942 to W.R. and Wanda Hill.

He died October 20, 2023 in Tulsa, OK. He is survived by RoseMary, his loving wife of 44 years. Seven children, Randy Hill, Lynette Jones, Harry Stockton, Shelia Yother, Valerie Hill, Tom Hill, and Natalie Mallory. He is also survived by his sister Delores Withers and brother Jeffery Hill; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by both parents, his sister Peggy Turner, and his granddaughter Kassandra Smith.

After his first job as a Coca-Cola bottler in Havre, Montana, Ernie honorably served as a U.S. Marine from 1959-1961. He held several various jobs over the years which included owning his own health food store called Ernie's Health Foods and on weekends working his booth at the flea market. Ernie was known for his many hobbies which included being an avid cactus collector, a landscaper, and a gardener. He also enjoyed using his creative skills in woodworking to make special unique things for others; and in his later years he enjoyed picking up pecans with his wife and sharing the fruit of his labor by cleaning them out for others. He was also a member of the Indian Territory Treasure Hunters Club.

He will be missed by his family who will always remember his time, treasure, and talents in giving to others.

Viewing will be 10am to 8pm Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Moore Southlawn Chapel. Family will receive friends from 4pm to 6pm.

Funeral services will be 10:00AM Tuesday, October 24, 2023 in the Moore Funeral Home, Southlawn Chapel. Interment will be at 12:30pm Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery, Fort, Gibson, OK.
