Erwin George Suechting, 50, of Tulsa, OK, went to be with his Heavenly Father, Friday, June 10, 1977, at Tulsa, OK. He was born on Saturday, July 17, 1926, in Lee County, Dixon, IL, to August G. Suechting and Anna K. (Altpeter) Suechting. Erwin was married to Ruth Mariana (Weidt) Suechting, and was an interdenominational minister. He was proud to have served in the United States Air Force in WWII. Erwin is survived by his wife; 2 sons, Conrad Suechting and Calvin Suechting, both of the home; 2 daughters, Krista Suechting of the home, and Heidi Jones of Tulsa, OK; 2 sisters, Erma Kitzky of Atlanta, GA, and Ester Ferguson of La Harpe, IL; father, August G. Suechting of Decatur, GA; and a lifetime of friends. He is preceded in death by his mother. Erwin will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
