Esther Munwie Kubia was born on August 24, 2003 to Victor and Bertherine Kubia in Edmond, Ok . She attended school in Oklahoma and was attending Oral Roberts University as a junior majoring in Strategic Media when she passed.
Esther accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior as a young child, and was consequently baptized both in water and with the Holy Spirit. A creative artist, vocalist, musician, photographer, journalist, theatrical and musical composer - her gifts and talents were uncompromisingly dedicated in service to the Lord.
Even more than her talents, Esther was known for her Christ-like character and for being a devoted daughter, a proud sister, a faithful servant of God, and a loyal friend. She served in several ministry capacities: with her family as a national missionary and youth director in Cameroon; in her church, International Gospel Center, as a youth leader, teacher; Creative Arts instructor and presenter; as a member of the Oral Roberts University Gospel Choir; as a ministry intern to her Pastor and as a Christian Camp Counselor at Eagle Sky Camp in the Ozarks.
Her life reflected kindness, humility, and faith.
Esther transitioned into eternity on January 15 , 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her parents, Victor and Betherine Kubia, her siblings Nate, Ruth, Judah and Deborah and a host of extended family and friends.
A service celebrating her life will be held at International Gospel Center on February 14, 2026 at 10 am.
