Obituary

Esther Munwie Kubia was born on August 24, 2003 to Victor and Bertherine Kubia in Edmond, Ok . She attended school in Oklahoma and was attending Oral Roberts University as a junior majoring in Strategic Media when she passed.

Esther accepted Jesus Christ as her personal savior as a young child, and was consequently baptized both in water and with the Holy Spirit. A creative artist, vocalist, musician, photographer, journalist, theatrical and musical composer - her gifts and talents were uncompromisingly dedicated in service to the Lord.

Even more than her talents, Esther was known for her Christ-like character and for being a devoted daughter, a proud sister, a faithful servant of God, and a loyal friend. She served in several ministry capacities: with her family as a national missionary and youth director in Cameroon; in her church, International Gospel Center, as a youth leader, teacher; Creative Arts instructor and presenter; as a member of the Oral Roberts University Gospel Choir; as a ministry intern to her Pastor and as a Christian Camp Counselor at Eagle Sky Camp in the Ozarks.

Her life reflected kindness, humility, and faith.

Esther transitioned into eternity on January 15 , 2026 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is survived by her parents, Victor and Betherine Kubia, her siblings Nate, Ruth, Judah and Deborah and a host of extended family and friends.

A service celebrating her life will be held at International Gospel Center on February 14, 2026 at 10 am.

"I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die."
John 11:25-26
