Eunice Brooks December 15, 1937 - August 3, 2025

Eunice Fay Hays Brooks passed away in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on August 3, 2025 at the age of 87 years. She was born on December 15, 1937 in Winslow Arkansas. She was the fifth of Effie and Floyd Hays' ten children.

She is survived by her children Mark Brooks, wife Patti, Penny Oller, husband Monty, Todd Brooks, wife Victoria, and Travis Brooks, five grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her younger siblings Opal Poole, Irene Cantrell, Wayne Hays and Donnie Hays. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty-three years Paul Ned Brooks, her parents, and her middle child Phillip Wade Brooks.

Eunice graduated from West Fork High School in 1955 where she was recognized for her leadership. She married Paul later that summer. She worked for Broken Arrow Public Schools for over twenty years and volunteered for the Broken Arrow Genealogical Society.

A service honoring Eunice will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 9, at Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, Tulsa, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers, consider making a contribution to the Broken Arrow Genealogical Society, 400 S Main St, Broken Arrow, OK 74012, in Eunice's name.
