Eva Pell, aged 76, of Bixby, passed away Jan. 27, 2017 after a long struggle to overcome a brain aneurysm. She was born May 22, 1940 in McDonough, GA.
Eva met the Love of Her Life, Gerald J. Pell, in Atlanta, Ga. and they were married there on Nov. 24, 1963. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, a daughter, Mary Antoinina Pell; 2 sons, William Frederick Pell and Theodore John Pell. She raised her three children with unconditional love and affection, and received the same in return.
As a Polio survivor, Eva had a very strong compassion and empathy for all of God's creatures, great and small. She especially loved dogs and cats, having had many of each throughout her life. Each held a special place in her heart. She was very caring and charitable, and was thought of as a warm and thoughtful lady.
Eva is also survived by a brother, Robert Alton Hood; several half sisters and brothers, including Patricia, Marie, Linda, Deborah, and Donald; a sister-in-law, Barbara Hawk; and a brother-in-law, William J. Pell. All of whom loved her very much. She also leaves behind numerous cherished nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services will take place on Thursday, Feb. 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E. 51st St., Tulsa, OK with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa. Viewing will be Wednesday 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
