Eva Grace Steed was born on April 18, 1924 in Corbin, KS and passed from this life on August 3, 2016 in Tulsa. She is survived by her two daughters, Patricia Steed of Portland, OR and Linda Steed of Tulsa; brother, Paul Hess and his wife Carol of Caldwell, KS; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Eva was preceded in death by her husband Charles V. Steed and siblings, Ruth Baker, Ruby Conine, Glen Hess, Hazel Hall and Georgia Kasper. She was actively involved with the St. Paul's United Methodist Church and Girl Scouts of America. Eva was a devoted mother and helpmate to Charles and made it possible for him to have a successful career with the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Little Lighthouse (Global Impact or Operating Fund).
