Eva Lucille Walden, 97, Tulsa resident, passed away Wednesday, February 1st, 2017 in Tulsa. She was born June 21, 1919 to Magdelene (Hauseman) and August Leo Mecklenburg in Marshall, OK. Eva graduated from Marshall High School and moved to Talala, OK. She married Leonard Wesley Sweger and they had a son, Wesley Dean Sweger. Eva worked as a secretary and planner for Bishop, Boeing and McDonnell Douglas. She was a member of Lutheran Church of Our Savior for over 60 years. Eva is preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Wilma Marie Dikeman and two brothers, Leonard and Delbert Mecklenburg. She is survived by her son, Wesley Dean Sweger of Tulsa, grandsons, Don Sawyer, wife Deidre of Bristow, OK and Ronnie Sweger, wife Claudia of Bixby, OK, five great grandchildren, Justin Sweger, Shawnda Jones, Brett Sweger, Brooks Sweger and Briggs Sweger, many nieces, nephews and friends. She will be laid to rest by her parents at Fairview Cemetery in Talala, OK.
