Welch, Eva "Ruthie", 81, died Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Eva was born February 22, 1933, in Chickasha, OK, and was the daughter of William David Oval & Beatrice (Smith) Barnett. Eva was a loving mother to her daughter, Sharon. She was a wonderful partner to her career military husband while living in Germany and throughout the U.S. Eva began her work career with SW Bell Telephone Co. in Oklahoma City and later worked as an Executive Secretary in Washington D.C.

Eva is survived by her sister, Peggy Haire, her brother Bill Barnett & wife, Pat. Son-in-law, David Messer, Grandson, Ian Messer, Granddaughter, Kevyn Messer, Great Granddaughter, Liv Messer and numerous nieces and nephews.
