Evelyn Lee was born January 30, 1925 in Osawatomie, Kansas to Fern and Phillip Moore. She grew up in the Kansas City area with her brothers Phillip, Jr, Richard and her sister, Phyllis (Jean). She met and married Edison Mincheff, of Chicago, in 1943. They had three girls, Sharon, Claudia, and Cristine, and a son, Marc. Ed's work in the oil business took them all over the world including to Teheran, Iran and London, England, where they lived for 14 years. They also lived in Alaska for a few years. All Evelyn's siblings, her husband, Edison, and her daughter, Claudia, preceded her in death. Evelyn was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a very active member of the Embroiderer's Guild of Oklahoma, Tulsa Chapter. She served as president for that group and taught embroidery to many in the area. She enjoyed attending the annual convention of the Embroiderer's Guild in Calloway Gardens, in Georgia. Her viewing will be on Sunday, July 18th, 1pm to 4 pm, at Moore Funeral Home Rosewood Chapel on Harvard, and Monday, July 19th, at which time the funeral will be held , also at 1 pm. Her inurnment will be at Floral Haven Cemetery next to her husband, Edison Mincheff
