Obituary

Evelyn "Christina" Randall entered into eternal life February 26, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born November 9th, 1921 to Cleve and Dilla Roberts in Duncan, Okla.

She attended Duncan High School and graduated in 1939. After business college she worked in Washington DC for the War Department for 2 years. She met Hugh Randall when he was stationed at Fort Sill. They were married April 11,1942. She followed her husband to several army bases before Hugh was sent to Europe during World War 2 where he served with the 265 Field Artillery. Son Donel Hugh was born in August1944. When Hugh returned from the war they moved to Fayetteville Arkansas. Daughter Evelyn was born in august 1948. They lived in Fort Smith Arkansas for a short time, and moved to Tulsa in 1955 where she began work for the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union . She was the secretary and office manager for 26 years. After retirement the next years were spent traveling in their motor home visiting family and friends.

The couple visited 45 of the lower 48 States, and Hawaii. In 2002 they moved to Oklahoma City to be near family. Christina was an active member of Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in Tulsa and enjoyed quilting and sewing and spoiling her grandchildren. During her retirement she made close to 200 quilt tops and gave them to friends and family. She developed a love of OU football and enjoyed watching the games and always wore her OU shirts on game day.
Christina was preceded in death by her parents and sister Kathryn. Her husband Hugh of 64 years passed away in 2007.

She is survived by children Donel Hugh Randall of Garland, Texas, and Evelyn Lee and husband Ronnie of Oklahoma City, three grandchildren Sara Randall, Jeffrey Lee and Jennifer McCuddy and honorary granddaughter Melissa Morgan Holcomb, and great grandchildren Garrett and Kennedy Fly, and Jamie McCuddy, as well as nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

Her family and friends will cherish the memories of a woman who loved life and always found good in everyone. Chris always had a smile and kind words for everyone she met. She will continue to bless all who knew her.

Funeral services will be Thursday March 1, 2018 2pm at Moore Southlawn Chapel, Tulsa with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery.
