Everett Roland Wier, 53, of Tulsa, OK, died Friday, May 20, 1977, at St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, OK. He was born on July 22, 1923, in Tulsa, OK, to Wilbur Roland Wier and Myrtle (Keyser) Wier. Everett was proud to have served as a Private in the United States Marine Corps in WWII. He worked at Douglas Aircraft Company for 23 years. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lois (Hunt) Wier; son, Marvin Wier of the home; 2 daughters, Pam Dorow, and Carolyn Bulger, of the home; 2 sisters, Mrs. Virginia Holden of Broken Arrow, OK, and Mrs. Daisy Fitzgerald of Tulsa, OK; nieces and nephews; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a paternal uncle; 3 paternal aunts, Mrs. Dorothy Key of Broken Arrow, OK, Mrs. Leah Fearnow of Oklahoma City, OK, and Mrs. Sara Grilley of Oklahoma City, OK. Everett will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
