Obituary

Frank Raymond "Ray" Glossop Jr. passed away peacefully on Friday morning, Nov. 3rd. Ray was 89. Ray was a kind, family-oriented man that did his best to make the world a better place through hard work and determination.

Ray was born in Tulsa in 1934. From the time he was a little boy, Ray was driven to explore the world around him and create something from nothing. Ray was a self-taught Mr Fix-It who was fascinated with design and construction. Ray later became an engineer at TD Williamson and traveled across the world. Ray was also active in Tulsa's auction, flea market and estate sale scenes. While working at Southside Auction in the late 60s, Ray met the love of his life, Gail June Roach. Ray and Gail became best friends and were eventually married. Ray never stopped loving Gail even after her death in 2006. Being reunited with Gail was what Ray wanted more than anything while he was alive. Now, Gail and Ray will never be separated again.

Ray is preceded in death by his mother & father (Mary Lou and Frank Sr), his brother (Jim), two sons (Mark Glossop & Gary Pruitt) and beloved wife, Gail. Ray is survived by two daughters (Louanne Shelton & Susie Robson), two sons (Don and Daniel Glossop), daughter-in-law (Kim Pruitt), his feline friend (Shadow) and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

On Nov 9th, Ray will be laid to rest beside his wife, Gail, in Memorial Park Cemetery. A graveside memorial will commence at 11am. Flowers for graveside use can be sent to Moore Funeral Home on 51st. Memorial donations can be made to the Porta Caeli House, Miller Hospice and Wing It.
