Obituary
Felix Elmont Altaffer, 75, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Saturday, August 20, 1977, at St. John Medical Center, Tulsa, OK, of stroke. He was born on Saturday, October 11, 1902, in Aline, Alfalfa County, OK, to Wilbur Altaffer and Jessie (Barrows) Altaffer. Felix was married to Wava Marie (Lawson) Altaffer and was a Detective Sergeant when he retired from the Tulsa Police Department after 30 years of service. He was proud to have served as a Corporal in the United States Army. Felix is survived by his wife of the home; two sisters, Sylvia Brand of Anthony, KS, and Nancy Bassett or Rogers, AR; and a lifetime of fellow officers and friends.
