Martin, Ferrel J., 87 of Tulsa, went to receive her rewards in Heaven on Tuesday July 2, 2013. She was the oldest of 6, born July 6, 1925 in Seminole to Jesse and Eunice Marquis.
She worked for McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Co. for 36 years many of them as an Executive Secretary onsite at the American Airlines Maintenance Base. She was a hard worker, with exceptional attention to detail. She was always dressed for success, you would never see her without her lip stick and high heels.
She loved traveling with family, especially to Hawaii. She was passionate about studying the bible, praying with and for others and had taken several mission trips. In retirement, she was a staple at the local McDonald?s, hanging out with her friends, reading her Bible and the local newspaper to keep up with current events. She always let her daughters know she was the momma.
Survived by daughters; Susan Dahlin, Marsha Nutting and husband Jim grandchildren; Jennifer McKay and husband Brian, Craig Nutting, Matt Wilkerson his fiancé Kathryn and 6 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband Bob Martin and sister Glenda Coots.
