SCHMIDT, Florence Elizabeth "Susie", 88, passed away Sunday, September 27, 2015 in Tulsa, OK. Born January 12, 1927 in Othello, WA to Jess William and Stella Elizabeth (Rosevear) Knepper. Florence attended the University of Arkansas then Transferred to Tulsa University where she received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education. Florence taught for the Tulsa Public School System until her retirement. She enjoyed sewing, reading and spending time with her family.

Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon L. Schmidt; son, Theo T. Schmidt. She is survived by her son, Jeff Schmidt; daughter, Kim Norman; seven grandchildren, Audra Norman, Derec Norman, Christopher Schmidt, Aubrey Schmidt, Sabrina Schmidt, Brandon Norman, and Chad Norman; seven great-grandchildren, Liam Norman, Elexis Norman, Hailee Schmidt, Dante' Coccia, Andrew Egan, Charlie Norman, and Braelyn Norman; half-sister, Shirley Dawn Finn of Clarkson, ID.
