Florence May Orman Scott, 82, former resident of Tulsa, OK, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, October 26, 1977, in Gregg County, Longview, TX, at her daughter's home. She was born on Thursday, September 12, 1895, in Collin County, McKinney, TX, to William Franklin Parker and Joan N. "Jodie" (Walker) Parker. Florence is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Dudley "Bonnie" Meadows of Longview, TX; son, Everett Samuel Orman of Tulsa, OK; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Norene Chaney of Tulsa, OK; and a lifetime of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Samuel Orman whom she married in 1913 and he passed away in 1947; second husband, James Chastain Scott whom she married in 1950 and he passed away in 1959; brother, Jesse Charley Parker who passed away in 1946. Florence will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but her spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have her in our lives.
