Floyd Schulmeier, 80, was born on Friday, July 21st, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas, the first child born to Alton and Valeska Schulmeier. He passed away on Tuesday, October 8th, 2019 at Saint Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was reared and educated in his birth community where he graduated from McArthur High School and attended Saint Mary's College in San Antonio.
Floyd began his lifelong career as a jeweler in 1961. Floyd and his wife, Vi, started their own watch company in February 1992. He was an accomplished trumpeter, playing in a German band, for residents of nursing homes across the area, for his church praise and worship team and in the Tulsa Community Band.
Floyd is survived by Son, Eric Smith, Tulsa, OK; Daughter, Connie Duncan and husband Bryan, Owasso, Ok; Daughter, Janet Allen, Broken Arrow, OK; Son, Jeff Smith and wife Jackie, Tulsa, OK; Daughter, Samantha Bridgers and husband Butch, Tulsa, OK; Son, Allen Schulmeier and wife Julie, Frisco, Tx. 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Darleen Lange and husband Marvin, St. Hedwig, TX; Sister, Aline Wallace and husband Gene, Cuba, Il; including several nieces and nephews.
Floyd was preceded in death by his parents Alton and Valeska Schulmeier and brother Loyd "Butzie" Schulmeier.
