Frances Annette Hixenbaugh
Born October 30th, 1936
Graduated from Sacred Heart Academy
Graduated with a Bachelor degree in "Home Economics" from Our Lady of The Lake, San Antonio, where she played basketball and volleyball.
Preceded in death by her husband, Norman T. Hixenbaugh; son, Stephen Forrest Hixenbaugh; parents, Leo F. and Rhoda Buss.
Survived by her children, Judith Mattix, Norman Hixenbaugh, Matthew Hixenbaugh and mom to many extended children; grandchildren, Christopher Mattix, Rachel Holloway, Brennan Farris, Devin Hixenbaugh, Adrian Hixenbaugh, Jordan Landers; great grandchildren, Alice Hixenbaugh, James Hixenbaugh, Grayson Farris, Easton Farris, Ella Holloway, Jack Holloway, Daisy Mae Mattix, Indie Belle Mattix.
Frances spoke Latin and Spanish and was familiar with many languages.
She also played Piano and Guitar.
She volunteered for March of Dimes Muscular Dystrophy, Hosted the "Mothers March", created costumes and gathered performers for "March of Dimes Telerama" and various film premiers and founded reenactment troupes, "Children Of The Mist" and March of Dimes "Star Wars" Troupe.
Frances was a proud member of Scottish Clans "Flemming and Forrester" and ran information tents for Scottish games promoting and assisting in family history for many clans and served as Oklahoma Commissioner of The Clan "Sinclair".
Frances also gave historical speeches for libraries and schools and donated historical items to, Space Museum, Aeronautical Society and War Museum.
Frances also worked as costume researcher for films, August Osage County, Playground of The Native Son, Bunker Hill, Coven, Wildfire, and Wild Indian.
Frances Annette Hixenbaugh, mother of four and mom to strays everywhere. She encouraged her children and extended children to embrace their God given talents and to pursue their dreams.
