Frances was a very optimistic person, always confident that God was in charge and all things would be fine - and they were for her. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. She loved to travel and to entertain and did so frequently. She began painting in her 70's working in Oils. She created several paintings depicting her and Ed's experience wintering in Tucson, AZ, and other delightful marvels of nature and life that adorn her family's homes.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Charles Lindsay, her sister Dr. Ivy Dempsey, and her devoted husband of 65 years. She is survived by her daughter, Dr. Lindsay Anne Patterson, and three wonderful, beloved grandchildren, John Rawson Berry of Tulsa; Amy Berry England and her husband, Andy, of Tulsa, OK, great-grandchildren Simon and Elliott; and Lisa Marie Coffey and her husband, Troy, of Oklahoma City, and great-grandchildren Bree, Kate and Connor; and her niece, Dr. Laura Dempsey.
Every day she shared a prayer that began "Dear God, we thank you for the numberless gifts and blessings that fill our days". She asks her survivors not to cry but to celebrate her eternal life. Her family is grateful for the caring community of Montereau and the dedicated staff of Seasons Hospice, especially Todd. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 1 at 2:00 p.m. at the Chapel at Montereau. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be sent to the Montereau Benevolent Fund, 6800 S. Granite Ave, Tulsa, OK 74136. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233 share memories at
