Frances Jane Rausch was born February 14, 1931 to Frances (Couch) Acker and Ernest H. Acker in Dallas, TX. She grew up in a tiny town with a big sky - Amherst, TX and in 1945 moved to Lawton, OK, where she graduated from Lawton High School in 1948. She earned a bachelor's degree from OU in business marketing in 1952. She met her loving husband of 67 years, Robert (Bob) Walter Rausch, while she was working at the Artillery School at Fort Sill, summer of 1953. They were married December 21, 1953 at Blessed Sacrament Church in Lawton, OK. Their children Rob, Connie, and Camille were born in Lawton, and the family moved to Tulsa in 1960. Over the years, Jane enjoyed volunteering at Philbrook Museum, Meals on Wheels, Church of the Madalene Women's Club and served as Province Director for National Council of Catholic Women. She loved playing bridge, dinning out, watching her precious grandchildren grow up, and spending time with dear friends. In addition to her husband and children, she is survived by her favorite son-in-law David Phillips, daughter-in-law Sandee Rausch, and grandchildren Rob Phillips (Katie), Mary Chelf (Clint), and Nick Rausch. She was a parishioner at Church of The Madalene for more than 60 years. Friends may contribute to Catholic Charities of Eastern Oklahoma or Meals on Wheels.
