FRANCINE LAMB
Francine Lamb, age 93, a resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma for over 85 years, went to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Monday, July 6, 2026. She was born on January 3, 1933, in Saint Louis, Oklahoma to Harry D. and Lillie F. (Lovell) Fleming. Her father was an oilfield pumper, and she grew up on oil leases in Central Oklahoma and in Central Kansas. She moved to Tulsa at age 8 attending Riley Elementary School, Roosevelt Junior High School and graduated from Tulsa Central High School in 1951. One month later she married the love of her life, Harry, on June 23, 1951. Francine was a 58-year member of Eastwood Baptist Church in Tulsa. Francine spent her lifetime loving her Lord Jesus, her husband Deputy Fire Chief and Chief of Emergency Services Harry N. Lamb, sons Craig and Brian and grandchildren Michael, Nicole, Kevin, Shaun and Julie, along with eight great grandchildren, her mother Lillie, sisters, Imogene, Donna, Kathryn and Linda, and all she came in contact with. Francine had 32 nephews and nieces who all dearly loved her. She loved growing a successful vegetable garden each year as well as beautiful flower gardens. Her two boys went on to get many college degrees and as she watched them walk across the stage each time, she said she felt like she had earned herself each of those degrees having read and commented on every college paper that was written. Not only known for her love, she was also a fabulous cook and could make any recipe taste wonderful. After they retired, Harry and Francine travelled to many European destinations with family and friends. Francine was preceded to Heaven by her husband, Harry N. Lamb in 2009, mother and father and sisters Imogene and Donna. She is survived by her two sons Dr. Craig N. Lamb and Brian K. Lamb and wife Susan, grandchildren Michael K. Lamb, Nicole R. Spradlin, Kevin W. Lamb, Shaun K. Lamb, Julie D. Lamb, and eight great grandchildren, all of Tulsa; two sisters, Kathryn Ruth Thetford of Owasso, and Linda Sue Hudson of Verdigris. Graveside Services and Interment will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Oklahoma under the direction of Elaine Moore Jones of Moore's Southlawn Chapel on Friday, July 10, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Dr. Larry G. DeLay, Senior Pastor of Crossroads Fellowship Church, will be officiating.
