On Saturday, March 13, 2021 Francis Edward Dowling, loving husband, passed away in Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 46. Francis was born July 3, 1973 in Quincy Illinois to Francis E. (Frank) Dowling and Wanda (Severs) Dowling. Francis spent his early years in Palmyra, MO and Hannibal, MO. He worked as a driver and laborer for a company in the disposal business. Francis met his wife Jennifer Willis at a handicap workshop in Hannibal and they were married in Hannibal August 3, 1996. Francis enjoyed working on his old cars and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Although he was not comfortable in large social settings he loved animals of all kinds particularly the various dogs they owned over the years. Francis and Jennifer moved to a small family ranch near Ketchum, OK in mid-2008 in order to take care of the property and a small herd of predominately rescue horses. He loved the horses and never saw their infirmities. Although he had many health issues he never complained of the extent of some serious ones. As a result they went undetected for a number of years resulting in a diagnosis of Stage 4 Renal Disease in 2015. Francis commenced dialysis treatment at that time.

Francis was preceded in death by his parents and sister Angela Dowling. He is survived by his adoring wife, brothers Delmar, David and Jason Dowling, brothers in-law James T , Ryan, and Joseph Willis, in-laws James A. Willis, Marja Willis, and Sandra Willis, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday March 22, 2021 at Moore Southlawn Funeral Home with grave side services immediately following at Memorial Park Cemetery at 2:00 p.m.
