Francisco " Papa Pancho" Mireles, 91, passed away Tuesday, November 18th, 2014 in Tulsa. He was born April 2, 1919 to Felipa Triana and Crecencio Mireles in Durando, Mexico. Francisco was an agriculture migrant worker and he enjoyed watching baseball games, drinking coffee, listening to loud fiesta music, dancing and playing the violin. He and his brothers each played different instruments to form a band. He is preceded in death by his parents, beloved wife, Estefana Galvan Mireles and his brothers and sisters. Francisco is survived by his sons, Ricardo Mireles of CA, Inocente Mireles of Tulsa, Francisco Mireles, Jr. of Tulsa, Bartolo Mireles of Tulsa, Reyes Mireles of Tulsa, Juan Jose Mireles of tulsa, Jesus Mireles of Tulsa, Guadalupe Mireles of Tulsa and Manuel Mireles of Tulsa, daughters, Dolores Mireles of Tulsa, Julia Mireles of Durando, Mexico, Socorro Mireles of Tulsa, eight daughter-in-laws, two son-in-laws, forty-eight grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. Rosary 6:30 PM Thursday, November 20, 2014 and Mass 12:00 Noon Friday, November 21, 2014 both at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with interment at Calvary cemetery in Tulsa, OK.
