Franklin Price, born March 1, 1921, passed away at home in Tulsa, Oklahoma, February 12, 2014 at age 92. He was the oldest son of Franklin C. Price Jr. and Lillian Rowley Price. He had served in the Army Air Corp during World War II in England, Italy, France and Belgium and was honorably discharged a captain. After the war he was employed by the Sun Oil Company in Philadelphia with whom he spent the next 37 years in credit, making his home in Havertown, Pa and Glenshaw (near Pittsburgh), Pennsylvania, and finishing his career in Tulsa. He was predeceased by his first wife of 42 years, Betty, in 1986. He is survived by his second wife, Helen, with whom he celebrated 25 years of marriage in January. Also surviving are a daughter June (Fred) Exley of Belle Vernon, Pa, a daughter Susan (Fred) Moore of Newbury Park, California and a son Robert of Tulsa; grandchildren Stacy(Jake) Huttner, Todd (Megan) Exley, Ryan (Leslie) Patterson, Erin Exley and Reid Exley and great grandchildren Leilah and Juliana Huttner, Talia and Olivia Patterson, and Collin and Blake Exley. Also surviving are step children Larry Williams, Karen Christessan and David Booth, 3 step grandchildren and 5 step great-grandchildren.
