Frank Stanford Simonton, 79, of 2017 N. Erie Ave., Tulsa, OK, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 1977, at his residence. He was born on , Monday, June 6, 1898, in Perry County, Troy, IN, to Asbury E. "A. E." Simonton and Edith Simonton. Frank was married to Nellie Belle (Crain) Simonton and was a retired carpenter. He was proud to have served his country in WWII. Frank is survived by his wife; son, William A. Logsdon of Tulsa, OK; 3 brothers, Fred Simonton of Stillwater, OK, Carl Simonton of Chandler, OK, and Edward Simonton of Drumright, OK; 2 sisters, Edith Little of Oilton, OK, and Ann Crauls of California; and a lifetime of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant brother, Thomas M. Simonton. Frank will be greatly missed in the days ahead, but his spirit and memories will live on within each of us, because we were privileged to have him in our lives.
