Fred Yvonne Petty, 81, of Tulsa, OK, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 1977, at Doctor's Hospital, Tulsa, OK. He was born on Monday, December 16, 1895, in Hardin County, Hamburg, TN, to William Green Petty and Margaret Ann (Perkins) Petty. Fred was proud to have served in the United States Army as a Lieutenant in WWI and Captain in WWII, in the Pacific. He was a retired car salesman for Fred Jones Ford. Fred was a member of First Christian Church, a Master Mason and Shriner. He is survived by his daughter, Anne P. Turner of Tulsa, OK; and sister, Mrs. O. L. "Ethel" Barlow of Hominy, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 infant sisters, Mable Petty and Thelma Petty; 3 infant brothers, Willie Petty, Tillman Petty and Jim Petty; 4 brothers, Sam Petty, Jack Perkins Petty, Oscar K. Petty and Robert Taylor Petty; 2 sisters, Lena Rivers Williams and Louisa P. Crow.
