Fredda Elaine Panter Black, age 71, died suddenly of a cardiac event while taking her morning walk on November 4th, 2021. Fredda was born on December 13th, 1949 in Copperhill Tennessee to Fred Charles Panter and Gladys Elaine Panter.
Fredda graduated from Copper Basin High School and went on to have an amazing career in sales and marketing. Fredda had been retired for many years and enjoyed cooking, homemaking and caring for her beloved dog Katie.
Fredda was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Black; her parents, Fred Charles Panter and Gladys Elaine Panter; as well as her sisters, Billie Delores Walden and Glenda Sue Townsend. She is survived by her first husband, John Louis Harper and their daughters, Jennifer Elaine Wilburn and Johnna Louise Kanwisher-Cirone; as well as grandchildren, Lauren Renee Morris, Stephanie Elaine Ledford, John Thomas Wilburn, Drew Joseph Kanwisher, and Brooks Alexander Kanwisher. Fredda had four beautiful great-grandchildren with whom she loved to spend time: Hudson Isaiah Morris, Adeleine Renee Morris, Holland Elaine Ledford and Harper Lynn Ledford.
Fredda was known for her generous and loving spirit. She had a passion for caring for others which led her to be an extraordinary friend to many people.
