Freeda Mae Reeves Jernigan, age 85, died on Sunday March 6, 2016 at The Maples at Har-Ber Meadows in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born in Arlington, Texas to John and Minnie (Dodson) Reeves and was the youngest of three children.

Freeda was a longtime resident of Tulsa, Oklahoma where she worked and retired as an administrative assistant from Precise Machining and Manufacturing. Freeda was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother Franklin and her sister Erma Faye. She is survived by her son James Scott Jernigan.

A memorial service will be held at 2:30pm, Saturday, March 12, at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 E 51st Street. Freeda will be buried at Cope Cemetery in Retta, Texas (between Mansfield and Burleson, Texas).
