FRISCO CLYDE NORTON 93, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Frisco was born to Willis U. Norton and Mary (Agee) Norton on June 9, 1919 in Marengo County Alabama. He was one of fourteen children.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his devoted wife, Esther (Ryder) Norton; three sons, Jerry Norton, Charles Norton and Ronald Norton; six brothers and four sisters.

Frisco is survived by his daughter, Margaret
(Norton) Barnett (Julius); three grandchildren, Katrina (Barnett) Harkley, (Tony); Ronald Norton, Jr., (Kendricia); Daisha Norton; one daughter-in-law, Linda Norton; six great-grandchildren, Alexia Harkley; Amaya Harkley; Simyah Norton; Kamron Norton; Kamry Norton; and Briarie Norton; three sisters, Estoria (Norton) Waldon; Mildred (Norton) Graves; Betty Jean (Norton) Barnes and a host of relatives and friends.

Frisco served in the United States Army during World War II from 1942 to 1947. He met and married Esther Ryder, she was the love of his life. Frisco was a member of Metropolitan Baptist Church and was an active member of the Usher Board for over 60 years. Frisco was an entrepreneur. He was a personal chauffer for Dr. Carney. He owned a lawn care maintenance business for many years. He was known to have the most beautiful flower bed on his block. Frisco cherished his family, and worked very hard to provide for them to the best of his ability.

Funeral Service: 11:00 A. M., Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Metropolitan Baptist Church with Reverend Ray Owens, PHD, officiating. Interment at Rentie Grove Cemetery in Jenks, Oklahoma.
