Obituary
Garry Richard Fisher, 70 went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2019.
Garry was born on March 10, 1949, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Richard J. and Jean Fisher. Garry grew up in Tulsa and graduated from Edison High School. He attended (and graduated from) Oklahoma State University. He also served in the U.S. Military (Army). Garry worked for the Tulsa County Sheriff's Department as a Deputy Sheriff. He loved his job and enjoyed being able to help and be a service to others. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Garry was a second degree Black Belt in Karate and practiced with the Golden Fist in GoJu.
He is survived by his sister, Deborah Ellison of Tulsa. A niece, Lori Zuercher and husband Chris of Newton, KS, nephew, Jeff Ellison and wife Amberly of Oklahoma City, OK, two great-nieces, Elizabeth and Isabella Ellison, one great-nephew, Zachary Ellison all of Oklahoma City, OK, and numerous family members and a few beloved and faithful friends who were there at his side though his long term illness.
Memorial visitation will be 12PM-8PM, Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn, 9350 E. 51st, Tulsa, OK. Moore's Southlawn 918-663-2233
