Gary W. Covey, 75, passed away Saturday, February 23rd, 2019 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born January 28th, 1944 to Pete and Pearl (Mathew) Covey of Oxford, Nebraska.
Gary and Linda Burwell were united in marriage on January 24th, 1987 in Inavale, Nebraska. Gary was a truck driver, United States Navy Veteran and a 50-year member of the VFW. He was an elder of a weekly Christian church service at Heatheridge Assisted Living.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, Darrell and Gerald Covey; and sister, Naomi Covey. He is survived by his wife, Linda J. Burwell Covey; sister, Beverly (Joe) Noble; sisters-in-law, Bonnie Covey, Verdena Springer; brothers-in-law, Donald (Barb) Burwell, Lyle (Linda) Burwell; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be 10AM-8PM, Tuesday, February 26th, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn Chapel, 9350 East 51st Street, Tulsa, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be 2PM, Wednesday, February 27th, 2019 at Moore's Southlawn. Moore Funeral Home - Southlawn Chapel 918-663-2233
