Gary S. Gilkey passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 72 years old. He was born in Clinton, MO on April 16, 1946 to Leslie and Ruth Gilkey. Gary graduated from McClain High School in Tulsa, proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps, came back and graduated (Dean's List) from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, and was a retired letter carrier for the U. S. Post Office. He enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard and reading. Gary was also an avid St. Louis Cardinal baseball fan, enjoyed watching their games, and hanging around the pool with good friends and ice cold beer. He is survived by his only child, daughter, Reileene T. Lane of Tulsa, OK; three grandchildren, Garrett W. Winkel, Allison L. Lane, and Jeremy S. Winkel; younger sister, Gina Care and husband, Kevin of Edmond, OK; and niece, Kelsey Care. Gary was preceded in death by his parents.
