Gary Wayne Gloden, 79, of Sapulpa, OK passed away on Friday, May 15th in his home surrounded by family and loved ones.

Gary was born on May 4th, 1947, in Guymon, OK to Leslie and Ruth Gloden. He grew up in Guymon and graduated from Guymon High School.

Gary was a jack of all trades: horse trainer, ranch hand, pastor, life and health insurance salesman, farrier, and artistic blacksmith and bladesmith. Together with his wife, Diane, he created GG Forge, under which he crafted and sold forged works of art, including custom-made knives.

Married to Diane for 46 years with a family of 5 children, 21 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren, he was a devoted husband, supportive father, and loving "Papa," "Pappy," and "Happy."

Gary is survived by his wife Diane with their children Terryll Gloden and wife Debbie of Texas, Kimberly Clark and husband Tom of Cushing, Chris Addison of Sapulpa, Joseph Addison and wife Shayla of Mounds, Teresa Bailey and husband Jeff of Sapulpa, grandchildren Gary, Ruth, Analys, Hannah, Nicolas, Julian, Kaylee, Brooklynn, Lainey, Garrett, Remi, Jase, Luka, Ava, Evan, Dax, Jordan, Morgan, Paxton, and Cooper, and great-grandchildren TJ, Saya, Morgan, Lincoln, Sevagoth, Aiden, Rowan, Memphis, Adalynn, Lila, and Bryce.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Ruth Gloden, sister Bonnie Birkle, and grandsons Dustin Koal Clark and Ryker Grey Addison.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, May 27th at 10:00 AM at Sapulpa Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Oklahoma Farriers Association Injured Farriers Fund; The Footprint Foundation (in memo: TLC Hospice); and/or Sapulpa Methodist Church.
