Obituary
Gary Ray Kile passed away unexpectedly in Tulsa Ok, on October 8, 2023 at the age of 82.
Gary is survived by his daughter, Rebecca Dunkle and her husband Ron Dunkle of Bartlesville, Ok., his sister Shirley Newberry of Stillwater, Ok., his 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin Ray Kile and Della Mae (McDowell) Kile. His sister Margret A. McCracken, Son, Eric Hager and granddaughter Alicia Rae Dawn Patterson.
Gary was born March 21, 1941, near Cushing, Ok. He was raised in Drumright and graduated from Drumright High School in 1959. He studied electrical engineering at Stillwater A&M, now OSU. Gary entered into the United States ARMY, July of 1966 where he did basic training at Fort Polk, La. He was then stationed at Fort Ord, Cal., and was honorably discharged July 4, 1972. After being discharged from the ARMY he returned to Tulsa Ok where he worked in the Tulsa area as an electrical engineer and draftsman, he finished his career with Martin Engineering when he retired in 2014 at the age of 73.
Gary was known to be witty and could make you laugh! He was passionate about playing guitars and golf. He was a fantastic father, son, brother, grandfather, and friend. He was always happy to visit with friends and family and there was never a dull moment when he was around.
